What is the CARB Clean Truck Check?+
It's California's emissions compliance program for heavy-duty diesel vehicles over 14,000 lbs GVWR. Most trucks need a periodic OBD test; older trucks or those that can't be read by OBD need an OVI (Opacity & Visual Inspection).
How long does the test take?+
An OBD test typically takes 15–25 minutes once we're plugged in. An OVI takes about 30–45 minutes.
Do you really come to me?+
Yes. Yard, shop, jobsite, driveway — anywhere in Riverside County, Orange County, and surrounding areas. No truck shop visit, no waiting room.
What if my truck fails?+
I'll tell you exactly what triggered the failure and what's needed to pass. A lot of the time it's a quick fix. If you fix it and retest with me within 30 days, the retest is free.
What payment do you take?+
Cash, Zelle, all major cards, and we can invoice fleets on NET-15 terms.
How do I get a CARB compliance certificate?+
Once you pass, your result is submitted to CARB and your truck is good for the compliance period. I'll text you a confirmation the same day.
